Hey Sam, August from Safertech.com here, The malware we’re talking about operates “around” your phones operating system. Essentially your phone(and you) can’t tell it’s there. There’s an amazing piece on Vice TV where Vice goes to Moscow to talk to Ed Snowden about this very thing. While sitting there, he uses malware to tap into the audio and video of a phone owned by another Vice reporter who happens to be interviewing someone in Afghanistan! And he had no idea. Truly, from our research, the only way to be sure is to physically block access to video and sound(the sound part’s tough-which is why I also like to turn the “input” down on on my computer mic settings.) We made Creep Blockers to be a non-damaging alternative to tape, yet secure and reusable-and thank you for saying so-Cute.
